First State-Level Minifootball Referee Seminar Held in Rajnandgaon

Chhattisgarh Hosts First State-Level Minifootball Referee Seminar

The first State-Level Minifootball Referee Seminar 2021 was conducted in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, from 21 to 23 February 2021, marking an important step towards strengthening referee education and officiating within Indian minifootball.

The seminar was organised by the Minifootball Association of Rajnandgaon District under the aegis of the Minifootball Association of Chhattisgarh and the Minifootball Association of India (MAI).

The three-day programme brought together referees and minifootball participants for a structured learning and development programme focused on the requirements of officiating in the sport. The event provided a dedicated setting for participants to engage with the laws and regulations of minifootball and develop a stronger understanding of the responsibilities associated with match officiating.

According to the event material, the seminar included classroom-based learning sessions, presentations and interactive discussions. Participants were seen attending instructional sessions, taking notes and engaging with presenters during the programme.

The seminar also included sessions delivered in a formal presentation setting, where aspects of the game were discussed with participants. These sessions provided an opportunity to address refereeing concepts and improve participants' understanding of the rules and procedures applicable to minifootball.

A number of photographs from the seminar show participants gathered together in official event attire, attending sessions and engaging with the programme. The event brought together a mix of male and female participants, reflecting broad participation in referee development activities.

The programme was conducted at Digvijay Stadium in Rajnandgaon, providing a dedicated venue for the three-day seminar.

The organisation of a state-level referee seminar demonstrated the importance being placed on developing a more structured officiating framework within minifootball. Training and educational programmes such as this provide referees with opportunities to improve their knowledge, understand competition requirements and develop greater consistency in applying the rules of the game.

The 21–23 February 2021 seminar therefore represented an important development activity at the state level, supporting the broader objective of strengthening officiating standards and creating a more informed refereeing community within Indian minifootball.
